Introducing – Diane Dyer
Diane joined the company in 2016 after having worked in the Investment and Pension Industry for over 25 years. Initially joining the office team to work in Sales this has now progressed to providing PA support to the General Manager, general sales as well as being an integral part of the Operations Team, project managing the various agricultural shows Purvis Marquees supplies.
Diane brings with her over 20 years working knowledge of marquees, both traditional and frame after having supported her husband, Craig’s marquee business over
How long have you worked at Purvis Marquees?
Since November 2016.
Where did you work / what did you do before?
I worked in the Investment / Pension Industry for over 25 years working my way up to being Group Admin Leader/Office Manager as well as being PA to the Regional Director at the same time. I hold various qualifications recognised in the financial services industry.
Describe a typical working day for you:
From sourcing new leads/tenders, producing quotations, answering calls, making bespoke overlays and leg drapes to ensuring we have stock of spare cable ties and diesel.
Best parts of working with the Purvis Team?
Working where every day can bring new challenges along with being part of a successful team.
Biggest Achievement/highlight of career to date?
Working on major contracts for the company and then being able to see the end finished result once the job is fully completed after months of planning, meetings, blood, sweat & tears.
What’s your top tip for event organisers?
The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can start helping you with your event.
How do you relax?
Spending time with family. Walking the dogs, spending time in Oban at our caravan and being a volunteer Assistant Cub Scout Leader for our local cub pack.

Organised, dedicated and hard working.
