Introducing – Tracey Rennie

Tracey joined Purvis in April 2022 as our events coordinator.  She has previously worked in various Customer Service and Administration roles over the years.  While Tracey likes to plan parties etc for her family the Marquee industry is completely new to her.

How long have you worked at Purvis Marquees?

I joined Purvis Marquees in April 2022.

Where did you work / what did you do before?

I worked for a company called Quotient Sciences as a Statistical Programming QC Coordinator. My role was to check the programmer’s work to ensure the results from the clinical trials matched the client’s specifications and liaise with the lead programmer for each study, my team, and other departments.

Describe a typical working day for you:

Fast-paced. Your day could be planned out then one conversation can change your workload for a short period of time.

Best parts of working with the Purvis Team?

Working within a tight-knit team with a vast range of knowledge I know there’s always someone I can ask for help if I need it.  Everyone works well together to ensure every stage of the job is complete.

Biggest Achievement/highlight of your career to date?

In a previous role – planning and arranging the installation of new heating systems for vulnerable customers.

What’s your top tip for event organisers?

Have an idea of what you are looking for and put your plans in place as soon as possible. Communication is key.  Make sure you relay all your ideas to your suppliers to enable us to create exactly what you are looking for.

How do you relax?

Spending time with friends and family, socialising (always with a prosecco/cocktail in hand), going on holiday, or shopping.
