The management team at Turriff Show found themselves in a tricky position some years back when their dedicated local marquee supplier decided to retire and sell his business. Who could they turn too with the experience within the show sector with the amount of equipment required to supply everything for a show the size of Turriff? Purvis Marquees of course.

As Purvis had a past relationship with the show’s current marquee supplier an agreement to buy some of the marquee stock already allocated to the show was agreed. This meant that we were able to step into the shoes of preferred marquee provider and maintain and exceed the needs of the show.

We continue to be tasked with supplying a wide and varied range of structures to service the main show from numerous small pagodas up to 20m span livestock marquees. Some of the structures would be needed with just basic finishes but many also require the VIP treatment.

Not only do our company provide the structures needed for the main show but many of the stand holders found that they could benefit from us being on site with all the transport, equipment and crew and still get the equipment they require for their stands at local competitive prices. 

With the vast amount of stock and experience that Purvis Marquees has to offer we continue to service large annual contracts such as Turriff Show. The teams have learnt to adapt to the annual changes that the show introduces and provide a first class service in sometimes challenging conditions.

Over the years both the teams at Purvis Marquees and Turriff show have become a close-knit partnership building up a trusting relationship that ensures we can be relied upon to make this event come to life. Our reputation has grown not only with the show team but with the stand holders who attend the show year on year meaning that we continue to supply the same customers every year. This contract means a lot to the Purvis Team and allows us to do what we love most – large complex, varied events with trusted event partners.
