As we well know cattle are substantially bigger than they were 40 years ago and both sheep and pigs have gone that way too (breed dependent). You maybe need temporary calving shelters / cattle nursery housing or for both sheep and pig housing?
Our marquees are used at livestock events all over the country, you’ve maybe been in one and not realised it. Incredibly strong, yet lightweight with an aluminium frame with a range of dimensions to suit most needs, a marquee is a great solution as a temporary calving shed.
Earlier in the year when friends of Purvis were talking to Farmers and Vets they confirmed we’re well placed to provide a cost effective solution. It was advised that new stock should be segregated indoors, kept well ventilated and protected from a lee wind. By using a marquee it restricts the chance of infection from existing livestock and is a great set up for a year round solution without the massive investment for a new shed.
